A clinical trial involving Viagra in men with erectile dysfunction showed that Viagra had a lower incidence of adverse events than the placebo, but the difference was not statistically significant. The first clinical trial,, aimed to compare the effects of Viagra 100 mg and Viagra 200 mg tablets on blood pressure and heart rate in patients with erectile dysfunction. Participants were randomly assigned to take either Viagra or placebo for 5 days. Blood pressure was measured before and after treatment, and blood samples were taken for measurement of heart rate, systolic, diastolic blood pressure and blood pressure in the morning, at night, and at bedtime.
